Description

An integral member of the business team assessing the branding, marketing, and communications needs of BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Responsible for initialing and coordinating activities to achieve strategic marketing objectives for a specific business unit which is national in scope. Lead contributor to the development, implementation, and effectiveness tracking of tactical marketing plans. In coordination with other Wealth Management marketing managers, sales management and personnel, corporate resources, and industry consultants, develops and executes plans to deliver consistent Wealth Management brand messages to maximize cross-sell and client/intermediary relationships. May manage and develop staff.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of successful product/marketing support experience in a major corporation, within the financial services industry. Minimum 5 years of proven project and personnel management in a fast-paced, highly visible environment. Expert knowledge of the marketplace, products/services, sales process, operations, business objectives and regulatory/competitive environment for the Wealth Management business unit the manager supports. Ability to analyze highly technical financial needs, products and processes, and exceptional organization and communication skills to develop/implement client-driven marketing programs which effectively enhance awareness of Wealth Management, maximize qualified lead generation/sales, support client satisfaction objectives. College degree required, as is active participation in marketing and industry organizations. Advanced degree preferred.
