Job Summary

This position will be responsible for creating awareness and preference for Solix’s unique set of service-based solutions, by perpetuating Solix’s brand image through the development of innovative marketing materials, and the management of a lead generation engine. On a daily basis, this role will be responsible for creating market demand for Solix’s services.  While this position involves “marketing”, it is not your traditional marketing role; at Solix you are not simply being asked to market for the sake of marketing.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Develop and manage the execution of lead generation campaigns that include the targeting of defined industry sub-markets, through the creative use of speaking engagements, conference participation, trade show participation, webinars, white papers, and out-bound calling campaigns, as appropriate

·         Act as the brand ambassador for Solix's brand, its use in the market, and its ongoing evolution

·         Develop customized marketing literature, slicks, case studies, white papers, and website content that is client-centric and market-facing. Create content for website and execute SEO/SEM strategy. Create advertising campaigns and work with Solix's Director External Communications to implement outreach strategies.

·         Work with Solix’s senior management team to ensure that the Marketing function is supporting the needs of the business 

·         Measure results through a series of key performance indicators and drive performance through coaching, feedback and motivation. Develop and maintain targeted and compelling call flow guidelines and scripts to be used by out-bound calling team.

·         Administer the use of a formal campaign management process through the use of sales and marketing automation tools, and present reports and results to executive management.  


Education or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing and/or Business Administration plus at least 7-years related experience; or at least ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 7-years sales and marketing experience, 5-years of a demonstrated track record of effectively project managing small to medium scales and marketing and lead generation campaigns, 5 years experience in managing a team of outbound callers and utilizing a Sales Force automation tools including CRM and marketing databases; and five years experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Excellent business writing skills including the ability to compose and produce a variety of professional marketing material utilizing multiple media channels; strong public speaking and presentation skills; ability to supervise, manage, coach and develop an outbound calling team; proven ability to develop a strong services brand; ability to project manage multiple marketing campaigns and cross-functional teams; strong graphic design skills; preferable with the Adobe Creative Suite; solid balance of creative, conceptual thinking and analytical skills;  strong people skills including ability to network and build relationships; and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills including Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

 

Division of Time:

The candidate will spend 10% of their time traveling, and 90% of their time in the Solix office, with the following breakdown of activities:

·         40% managing marketing campaigns and an Inside Sales Team

·         30% developing marketing content

·         20% participating in solution and proposal development

·         10% administrative, updating SFA tool, and reporting status

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         You must have experience creating marketing content for a Business Process Outsourcing services firm (Product content development experience does not apply)

·         You must have experience managing an inside sales team

·         You must have the proven ability to create leads

·         You will be required to pass a drug-test
