Standard Chartered has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join a newly formed function within its Wholesale Banking Brand Marketing team.

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing and tracking all operational requirements within the team.

To succeed in the role, you will need to be process driven with strong numeracy and analytical skills and passionate about identifying more efficient and effective ways for the Brand and Marketing team to operate.

As an excellent relationship builder, you have experience in working in complex organisations using your networks to help identify operational improvements that will help support the business and support functions as well as our clients.

Key Roles Responsibilities

- Oversee, track and manage global budget and marketing spend for the Brand and Marketing team
- Generate and analyse financial reports on a monthly basis and highlight opportunities and risks
- Support the Brand and Marketing team by addressing queries with the business, product and regional finance teams
- Implement standardised templates for planning and alignment across team
- Accurately measure the team's activity to ensure alignment with annual business forecasts and all associated reporting. This data should also be used to continuously identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase marketing effectiveness and improve operational efficiency
- Provide active support to colleagues and team members to ensure maximum co-ordination of activities
- Work with Global Sourcing to put effective vendor management processes in place
- Identify and mitigate barriers to global quality and consistency

- Skilled communicator and influencer with proven ability at exercising cross-functional influence, especially between business and technical teams
- Hands-on self starter that works well in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-orientated environment
- Proactive, results-orientated and organised with the ability to succeed in a highly-matrixed organisation
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and geographies
- A keen eye for process efficiency, quality, scale and ongoing optimisation.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Ability to set and meet aggressive deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong inclination towards quality and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise accordingly

Experience
-*Several years of professional experience, with hands-on experience in a global operational role
- CPA certification preferred
- Experience in accounting and financial reporting is a must
- Marketing knowledge desirable
