Marketing Proposal Writer
Position Description
The Writer works with many departments and levels across the organization to ensure aligned messaging across proposal and marketing efforts. The Writer manages the completion and analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) and also writing copy for marketing communications.
The Writer collaborates with other Proposal Writers and Marketing Specialists in two major areas:
Proposal-related responsibilities:
Provide project management, writing and editing expertise while acting as the focal point for the sales representative and other field team members throughout the duration of an assigned proposal
Develop and maintain content database
Analyze and communicate RFP statistics communicate proposal processes and expectations clearly within the organization
Work with other proposal writers to appropriately allocate workload across the department
Marketing-related responsibilities:
Manage marketing writing assignments including: collateral, sales tools, press releases, website copy, internal communications, etc.
Collaborate with graphic designers to create customer-facing promotional materials
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project management, writing and editing expertise while acting as the focal point for sales representatives and other field team members throughout the duration of an assigned proposal. 50%
Work with other proposal writers to manage development of content as product strategy evolves.15%
Collaborate with marketing staff to manage development of marketing content as product offerings evolve. 35%

Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience marketing and developing and/or managing comprehensive proposals in a healthcare and/or technology setting as well as experience managing people
Education
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred.
Physical Requirements
working conditions will include office environment as well as some travel on an as needed basis.
