Research Analyst, Service Revenue Management Anywhere in the U.S. Company Description With roughly $200M in revenues, growing at over 30% year-over-year, ServiceSource is a leader in a new category known as Service Revenue Management. ServiceSource provides solutions that drive increased renewals of maintenance, support and subscription agreements for technology companies. These solutions consist of a suite of software applications and service sales teams working under our customers brands. By integrating software, services and data, we provide end-to-end management and optimization of the service contract renewals process, including quoting, selling and business intelligence. Our business is built on our pay-for-performance model, whereby customers pay us based on renewal sales that we generate on their behalf. We manage over 100 engagements across more than 60 customers - including Adobe, Blue Coat, F5, Juniper Networks, Pitney Bowes, Progress and Siemens PLM - representing over $7 billion in service revenue opportunity under management The research analyst will be responsible for identifying, researching and documenting best practices in contract renewals. The research analyst will identify best practices using several methods, including historical data analysis, interviews of ServiceSource employees and customers, and broader surveys of the market. This is a critical role for ServiceSource as it will both help ServiceSource continuously improve as well as provide valuable research that can be leveraged in marketing programs and customer outreach. This position will report to the senior director of Solutions Marketing. Responsibilities The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, capable of driving ServiceSource's overall research strategy. It will be particularly important to have a blend of strong analytic and writing skills. Primary responsibilities will include: - Responsible to gather and analyze primary and secondary external research - Will generate original research through analysis, research projects and interviews - Will analyze large volumes of customer data to create benchmarks and trending reports - Present data to support white papers, and/or articles as thought leadership pieces - Support Lead generation activities with seminars, webcasts or client calls. - Collaborate with marketing leadership to identify research projects that will create the most interest in ServiceSource
