Marketing Services Consultant

The Marketing Services Consultant is responsible for driving the marketing strategy and implementation of local marketing strategies and tactics to grow markets where Kaiser Permanente is present. The Marketing Services Consultant may also work with key business partners to implement messaging strategies and tactics for specific Kaiser Permanente products. This position serves as a key business partner to the local area marketing and public affairs teams ensuring the creation and delivery of effective marketing tools and collateral that drive acquisition, retention and loyalty among members and non-members. This role also works closely with the internal Kaiser Permanente creative department leading the creative development process for marketing collateral and initiatives. The Marketing Services Consultant is also a relationship builder working closely with a wide array of internal business partners providing general consumer insights for the brand, local insights, and product and channel knowledge. Key to success in this role is strong consumer marketing and/or ad agency experience in Account Management or Account Planning, excellent people and communication skills, knowledge of integrated marketing strategies and tactics, the ability to work with cross-functional business partners in a collaborative way and the ability to work in a large organization with many levels of management. Essential Functions: - Drives multiple projects at the same time. - Sets the strategic direction for the given marketing project and lead the marketing sub-team. - Is the subject matter expert. - Ensures the marketing content is strategic and accurate. - Works in tandem with Strategic Projects to develop specific product initiatives or marketing plans - Develops solutions to marketing issues providing a clear point-of-view and knowledge of business that enables the team to make business decisions and move projects forward on time. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum 4 years related experience (in Brand Management or Ad Agency). - Must have direct experience in managing the creative development process from writing creative briefs to ensuring the end product works as an effective marketing tool. - Thorough knowledge of policies, practices and systems. - Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. - Full knowledge of industry practices. - Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields. Preferred Qualifications: - Healthcare Industry Experience Preferred.
