Marketing Services, Design and Production Manager Job in Chelmsford, Anglia UK
The client is a multinational corporate and market leader, providing technology and business solutions around the printing sector, incorporating hardware, software and services. They have a strong and visible brand, and a wide variety of products and services. Investment in sales and marketing is considerable, with a constant stream of campaigns and product launches. In addition, the company has many routes to market and sells into a number of channels; as such they have a continual requirement for the production of media, collateral and marketing material.
The role will provide creative marketing support to sales and product activities within the business. Responsibilities include:
- Supervise the creative marketing team, prioritising and allocating activities, and ensuring quality of output.
- Design marketing materials to support conferences, product launches, sales targets and incentives.
- Design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, print on the page, multimedia, print samples, merchandising, POS, ads and posters.
- Manage budgets, both departmental and for projects. Manage suppliers and costs.
- Ensure quality of production and that dead-lines are met, and manage stock control through on-line website.
- Work with Product Managers to actively support new launches and promotions
- Attend and actively participate in monthly sales meetings to develop knowledge of specific needs of the sales channels. Design and produce sales support aids.
Candidates will have relevant experience in managing a marketing services / print production and creative team. You must have worked in an environment used to tight deadlines and budgets, responding to the needs of the commercial, sales and product functions. Experience gained in a print production operation would be useful, as would working with demanding clients looking for quality design and production.
