Our client is a market leader in the production and distribution of an impressive range of products for the leisure and hardware markets. The company has a long and proud history in Australia spanning back over 50 years. The business has now developed into a global player and is flourishing in a competitive market through the innovation of its products and services. The business has two distinct divisions operating in the leisure and hardware markets.

They are now entering an exciting period of strong growth leading into 2012 and are seeking an experienced Marketing Services Manager to be part of the management structure at their head office. This is a strategic marketing role were the successful candidate will have control of a set budget to drive and deliver key marketing campaigns and initiatives across APAC.

Reporting to the Managing Director your role will see you being fully accountable for managing the implementation of all marketing activities and developing the marketing strategy across the business. You will be responsible for the control of product submissions (for the garden product range) into the national hardware channels and coordinate and drive online marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness. A key aspect of this role will be to build sales through the newly established e-commerce web portal to help increase direct customer transactions. Working closely with the senior management team you will monitor sales and gross margin to budget and assist with setting sales strategies to drive and accelerate growth. In addition to this, your role will also see you measuring ROI and understanding customer behaviours in both B2B and B2C markets.

This is an autonomous role working with key internal and external stake holders. The successful candidate will have a broad marketing background with preference given to candidates who have management experience or have a strong desire to take the next step into a management role. Also advantageous will be technical product management or a candidate who comes from a manufacturing background.
