POSITION PURPOSE

 

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting with Marketing Communication functions and providing support to other CSi departments to improve organizational efficiency.  This position requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a high proficiency with critical software applications, in a fast paced and results oriented environment.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  

1.        Responsible for providing marketing support

a. Write/edit marketing materials such as brochures, product sheets, website copy, email marketing copy, survey questions, and other projects as requested.

b.  Draft and coordinate email marketing campaigns through PinPointe software.  Develop high competency with PinPointe.

c.  Perform design work for Corporate Sales presentations.  Possess a high competency with MS PowerPoint and Slideshare.

d.  Review and recommend updates to CSi website; update website. Possess high competency with Online design and HTML.

e.  Perform design work, such as creating registration forms for webinars, product sheets, brochures, manage image inventory, manage layouts and designing of communications such as presentations, newsletters, event support materials, brochures, etc.

f.   Plan, solicit content, create content, design and manage distribution of CSi newsletters and corporate communication efforts.  Assist in content development for a variety of ongoing projects.

g.  Plan, review, and update sales support tools, such as the sales gateway portals for each business partner, proposal templates, communication templates, etc.

h.  Lead proposal and/or sales presentation production efforts and coordinate team efforts in preparing high-quality RFP/RFI submissions.

i.  Analyze and tally survey results including annual customer surveys, company surveys, new installation surveys and others as requested.  Develop high competency with survey software.

j.  Coordinate trade show booths--physical maintenance, signage, logistics, etc.

k.  Coordinate trade show activities such as registration, handout needs, giveaways.  Initiate and keep the master worksheets up to date.

l.  Monitor supplies of marketing collateral.  Update and print as needed.

m.  Assist sales and marketing management with materials and communications media to symbolize effectively the services and products of CSi to prospects, customers and business partners.

n.  Assist the Sales personnel as needed to prepare marketing proposals, agreements, pricing for the end users

o.  Coordinate with Business Development and Legal to generate new Business Partner Non-Disclosure and Software Distribution Agreements and supporting exhibits.

 

2.     Responsible for providing administrative support

                       a. Assist in preparing communications for external consumption, such as product release notes, articles, etc.

b. Work as a utility player with other departments providing administrative support as requested, such as running sample packets of forms, collating materials, preparing special mailings, creating PDFs, making copies, and other duties as requested.

  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Certification:                Four year college degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business or Journalism.

 

Required Knowledge:                     General knowledge of financial industry

 

Experience Required:                      3-4 years in marketing or communications role within professional services environment.  Strong communication skills; Experience in graphic design. Demonstrate ability to work independently.
