Department
The International Strategy Marketing department develops and implements business growth strategies based on robust market need analysis and pro-active recommendations. The team delivers business strategies, marketing planning and execution to capture segment-specific, country-specific and cross-products related opportunities. The department reports to Sales and works closely with the Product development and Customer Services globally.
Responsibilities
• Understand and track industry trends for the markets covered
• Market segmentation
• Building of target lists
• Create and implement marketing and communication plans
• Build content marketing strategies
• Craft marketing material (brochures, e-mail campaigns, etc..)
• Develop and implement online social networking strategy
• Manage international websites
• Develop event promotional strategies
• Manage marketing partners
• Track performance of marketing campaigns
• Develop powerful presentations for both internal and external audiences
• Project Management and team coordination
Qualifications
Strong academic background, preferably with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Economics.
Experience
• Substantial experience in a related role
• Experience as a marketing manager
• Experience of working with sales data and economics, with an understanding of the financial markets
• Understanding of segmentation methods
• Experience of implementing marketing plans
• Experience of creating marketing collateral online/off line
• Experience of creating e-mail and advertising campaigns
• Experience with digital social networking
Key Tech and Non-Tech Skills
Technical Skills
• Fluency in English and German essential, additional European languages beneficial.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Marketo (or similar marketing automation software)
Non-Technical Skills
• Pro-active approach with the ability to work autonomously
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, highly organised and efficient
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• The candidate must be comfortable with numbers and demonstrate strong analytical abilities
