Department
The Corporate Marketing team is responsible for branding, marketing communication, digital marketing, marketing technology, creative and cross-product marketing. The Corporate Marketing team coordinates activities across several distinct business units within Moody's Analytics, working closely with the product management and marketing teams of each business unit that are responsible for the marketing of individual product lines.

Responsibilities

The Role:
We are looking to fill a key role to lead the branding and marketing communication efforts for the Corporate Marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for the positioning of the Moody's Analytics corporate brand and developing its brand equity. In order to fulfil this mission, the candidate needs to develop a thorough understanding of the company strategy, competitive environment and customer needs. The candidate will then apply this understanding in creating, reviewing and coordinating marketing communication content internally and externally across all marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze MA customer segments and competitors as well as the market perception of the MA brand to inform MA's branding strategy, tactics and marketing content
- Monitor, support and guide the use and application of the MA brand in various marketing content across the organization
- Develop and manage various corporate and cross-product marketing content and collateral including:
* Corporate, segment, and regional brochures
* MA.com, Wikipedia and various social media sites
* Corporate and sales presentations
- Lead the MA content marketing strategy

Qualifications
Experience:
- 7 - 9 years of experience in B2B marketing or equivalent
- Responsibility for marketing content/collateral development
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
- Strategy consulting experience within the financial service industry is a plus
- Business services and software marketing experience a plus
- Knowledge of fixed income markets, lending institutions and risk management is required

Key Tech and Non-Tech Skills
Technical:
- Superior ability to articulate and communicate (written and verbal) the benefits of technical tools and services to audience in the financial services industry
- In-depth knowledge of various content marketing tools and techniques
- Ability to analyze markets, customers and competitors to identify strategic groupings/segments and differentiation in value propositions

Non-Technical:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and be comfortable with marketing very technical products and services for fixed income, lending and risk management professionals
- Skill to take abstract ideas and craft them into executable plans
- Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary project working groups
- Exceptional problem solving capability
- Comfort working with senior executives
