At the same time delivering the key messages of the company both internally and externally, establishing a powerful presence and positive image of our client and extending the expertise of investment professionals to the financial community.
The Marketing Support Analyst will be the first point of contact to internal and external clients, representing our client in a professional, fair and not misleading manner.
The new team member will be required to work as part of a team, alongside the Marketers, Portfolio Managers, Compliance Officers, Product Control Analysts and external service providers to ensure that the best possible response is provided on behalf of our client.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the delivery of a number of operational improvement projects which have been identified by the Marketing Support Manager. Therefore, demonstrable experience of business analysis and project work would be advantageous.
The role involves the production, collation and analysis of data and information for institutional investors and prospects. This role will report to the Marketing Support Manager but will involve working closely with Globe Op who produce historical data, the Investment Professionals to interpret data on underlying funds in our portfolios and the Marketers and other Marketing Analysts to understand the client and potential client requirements. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, as all data collated will be used in direct client contact through performance reporting, pitch books and Requests for Proposals (RfPs).
Requirements
You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of data delivery are accurate, complete, consistent and timely and that underlying processes and data validation documentation complies with model standards.
- Calculate and report accurate performance on our client’s range of fixed income products and market benchmarks in line with monthly client deadlines
- Deliver all client reports (standard and bespoke) including valuations, ad hoc reports and quarterly investment reports
- Undertake market and competitor analytical research within European fixed income via interpretation of market information and application of this in the marketing process
- Ensure all consultant platforms accurately updated on a quarterly basis
- Communicate with Marketers and provide investment reporting solutions and market data to support our sales message
- Develop marketing tools and client reports using VBA
- Identify and investigate any errors with underlying data, and liaise with Globe Op and IT Support teams to rectify issues in a timely fashion
- Attend meetings with portfolio managers and other internal teams to discuss the best way of informing clients on performance of funds and programmes
- Proactively identify efficiencies and improvements to existing processes and procedures in relation to data sourcing and monitoring
Marketing Support Team responsibilities:
As part of a the Marketing Support team of 5, you will be expected to cross train in the other functions of the team, in order to provide on-going support in contact with clients and internal parties, building relationships and ensuring all client information is handled correctly, whilst promoting a positive and professional work environment. Effective communication on all work undertaken within the team is expected, escalating problems to the Marketing Support Manager or providing supporting information to others as required. Each team member will have specialist responsibilities (e.g. Reporting) but will be expected to assist in the team responsibilities which include but are not exclusive of:

• Produce all marketing materials, including pitch books, newsletters and fact sheets
• Edit responses and information provided for marketing materials by contributors to ensure clarity for clients, as well as providing a compelling sales message
• Ensure all relevant marketing literature is well-targeted, remains up-to-date and is compliant
• Confirm all data sources are verified and correct

• Complete questionnaires on time, in accordance with the given deadlines and guidelines

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Person Specification:

- Good understanding of fixed income products
- Commitment to developing a career within asset management and marketing
- Understanding of institutional funds business within Asset Management

- Experience with Asset Consultant Databases, particularly eVestment
- Proven performance analysis and calculation experience
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel (Pivot tables, macros etc.) essential; VBA desirable
