The Marketing Support Analyst will be the first point of contact to internal and external clients, representing our client in a professional, fair and not misleading manner.   

The new team member will be required to work as part of a team, alongside the Marketers, Portfolio Managers, Compliance Officers, Product Control Analysts and external service providers to ensure that the best possible response is provided on behalf of our client.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in the delivery of a number of operational improvement projects which have been identified by the Marketing Support Manager. Therefore, demonstrable experience of business analysis and project work would be advantageous. 

The role involves the production, collation and analysis of data and information for institutional investors and prospects. This role will report to the Marketing Support Manager but will involve working closely with Globe Op who produce historical data, the Investment Professionals to interpret data on underlying funds in our portfolios and the Marketers and other Marketing Analysts to understand the client and potential client requirements.  The role requires exceptional attention to detail, as all data collated will be used in direct client contact through performance reporting, pitch books and Requests for Proposals (RfPs). 

Requirements

 You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of data delivery are accurate, complete, consistent and timely and that underlying processes and data validation documentation complies with model standards.

Marketing Support Team responsibilities:

As part of a the Marketing Support team of 5, you will be expected to cross train in the other functions of the team, in order to provide on-going support in contact with clients and internal parties, building relationships and ensuring all client information is handled correctly, whilst promoting a positive and professional work environment.  Effective communication on all work undertaken within the team is expected, escalating problems to the Marketing Support Manager or providing supporting information to others as required.  Each team member will have specialist responsibilities (e.g. Reporting) but will be expected to assist in the team responsibilities which include but are not exclusive of:

o    Presentations/Marketing Materials

•   Produce all marketing materials, including pitch books, newsletters and fact sheets

•   Edit responses and information provided for marketing materials by contributors to ensure clarity for clients, as well as providing a compelling sales message

•   Ensure all relevant marketing literature is well-targeted, remains up-to-date and is compliant

•   Confirm all data sources are verified and correct

o    Questionnaires (RfPs, Due Diligence, industry surveys)

•   Complete questionnaires on time, in accordance with the given deadlines and guidelines

•   Edit responses and information provided by contributors to ensure clarity for the reader, as well as providing a compelling sales message

o    Branding

•   Liaise with press in positioning our client press releases and interviews

•   Write press releases

o    Social Media

•   Maintain and constantly improve website content

o    Performance Reporting

•   Deliver all client reports within deadlines

o    Market, investor and competitor analytics

•   Collation of relevant materials

o    Reprographics

• Internal Communication:

o    Coordinate weekly Marketing team meetings

o    Organise internal Marketer events and training

o    Maintenance of the Client Services and Marketing MS SharePoint sites. 

o    Branding

•   Deliver and monitor our client brand guidelines internally to ensure consistency of message

• Project Coordination

o    Assess and manage projects required to implement improvements to current procedures, once agreed with Marketing Support Manager.  Liaison with key stakeholders throughout to ensure delivery of project with agreed deadlines
