Mass Market Credit Risk Analyst recruitment
We have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute Mass Market Credit Risk Analyst to join our team inExeter. With proven analytical skills and a solid financial background, ideally in Credit or Risk, you will work closely with other parts of the business to monitor and undertake in depth credit checks on major customers within the B2B business unit, providing analysis and reporting on all data collected.
Based from ourExeteroffice, you will report directly into the Credit Risk Manager and have an understanding of credit scoring methodologies, as well as techniques used to mitigate credit risk, across a range of counterparty sizes. You will also provide expert analysis / commentary on business failures in the B2B portfolio and keep abreast of all projects directly affecting Credit Risk. Provide constructive input at appropriate stages, to ensure Credit Risk processes are represented and effectively improved. By ensuring the credit scores (internal external) of B2B's customers are accurate and up to date, in both Oracle and SAP, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely reports and risk indicators to prioritise the Operational teams' work in reducing invoice exposure.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree standard or be able to demonstrate ability to the same level delivered in a working environment, as well as having experience of using performance management metrics to drive and support change. You will need to possess (either initially or by quickly learning) an expert ability on all CRM systems, as well as having (or quickly learning) a clear understanding of the Multi/Major's Credit Vetting Policy and separate SME Credit Risk Policy. Attention to detail is of paramount importance as is strong numerical and analytical ability and you will require a robust character due to the nature of the decisions being made and will need to demonstrate informed and commercially balanced judgement when making credit recommendations.
