An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Master Scheduler to join our Superior Pak team based in Bundaberg. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Master Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating the maximum achievable use of labour, plant and materials efficiently, consistent with the forecast, business plan and available capacity to achieve on-time delivery of product.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field such as Certificate in Production and Inventory Management from APICS. Skills with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet development, and Microsoft Access and database management will be required for this role; as will excellent analytical and problem solving skills, organisation and planning skills, and well-developed negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal applicant will have the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure; and work well within a team, whilst also able to work autonomously. This position requires someone with strong customer focus; strong attention to detail; previous experience in production scheduling and coordination; and ERP / MRP experience (JD Edwards desirable). Manufacturing experience, specifically in heavy fabrication / vehicle manufacturing, is desirable.
