Our Company is one of North America's largest architectural glass aluminum fabricators and distributors, with over many locations nationwide. We are currently seeking a Materials-Production Control Supervisor  located at our Medley, Florida facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:

·         Maintain responsibility for inventory accuracy and logical inventory organization.

·        Prepare and oversee production scheduling to meet budget and customer requirements.

·        Ensure suppliers meet quality and on-time delivery criteria.

·        Provide other team members with timely and accurate feedback of material shortages, equipment problems etc. when required or appropriate.

·        Maintaining appropriate working relationships with internal and external customers.

·        Help team develop workable solutions to eliminate material related failures through root cause analysis.

Perform other assignments as required.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                        

Supervises assigned employees and conveys Management’s expectations and direction. Responsibilities include: training, directing, and motivating assigned employees and making recommendations to Management on their behalf.

 

Education and/or Experience            

High School Diploma and two year degree preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in a  Manufacturing environment dealing with scheduling, and material flow.  Two years of Supervisory experience preferred or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
