1. Physically unloads product from trucks, uses hand-held RF scanner to receive product. The associate must match/verify physical product against planned incoming product shown on RF scanner. Perform visual inspection to ensure appropriate quantity and that there is no damage to packaging.
2. Determine if the shipment needs to be broken down/repalletized for storage.
3. Store product into systems directed locations. Problem solves/escalate product that will not store appropriately.
4. Pick Product by part number, use hand-held RF scanner to obtain picks (Directed by RedPrarie warehouse management system). Verify part number and quantities. Move product to staging zone or to conveyor that takes product to the packline.
5. Operates powered industrial equipment for Material Handling (fork lift, turret truck, hand crane)
6. Break down the product packaging according to hand-held RF directed work (specifies how). Use cranes to move product in the breakdown areas (Receiving Break area or Forward/Break area)
Minimum Requirements: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or GED Equivalent.
Desired: Powered Industrial Equipment Certification (PIE) Basic computer skills, Operate crane hoist
