We are busy!
Due to increasing workload, we have an immediate need for a corporate Material Manager to manage a 65,000 square foot facility and manage all building operations.  This outstanding opportunity is located in Livonia, Michigan.

Responsibilities:
• Delegate tasks and assignments to teams, then provide follow-up to ensure completion
• Ensure inventory mgmt. cycle program, audits, and overall accuracy
• Manage material planning group (scheduling, release follow-up, tracking)
• Ensure kitting and retail operations achieve objectives and maintain safety stock levels
• Plan, schedule, and optimize labor force to support operations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees
• Motivate, train and organize workforce; as well as, practice good housekeeping

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Supply Chain, or Logistics required; MBA preferred
• 10 – 15 years of total Materials Management experience
• Must have previous salaried management leadership experience
• Expert knowledge of material planning systems processes
• Expert knowledge of production support, warehousing, shipping, receiving, storage, and material control
• Experience supervising Inventory control, including cycle counts and audits
• Must have good working knowledge of automotive components
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel Word
• CPIM preferred
• Quality training preferred
