Material Planning Job ID: GCSD08111053 Material Planning Palm Bay, FL - GCSD08111053 Description: Material Planning Palm Bay, FL Job Code: GCSD08111053 Description: * Lead all Materiel Planning and Procurement activities in support of assigned pursuits, proposals and programs. * Coordinate material requirements with production, purchasing, engineering, and program management departments. * Plan, schedule, and acquire material required to support program production build schedules. * Evaluate material shortages and determine appropriate inventory levels. * Evaluate material status reports, identify and/or resolve material constraints, and routinely provide material status to the program team. * May interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding the purchase, material handling, inventory control, shipment and cost of material. * Maintain and retrieve information from MRP, PDM, PeopleSoft financials and/or other material related and financial systems. Qualifications: * Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 6 years related experience is required or Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience required of demonstrated Supply Chain performance * Microsoft Office required, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables).
