Material Controller
The company is a leading UK brand for the processing of a wide range of steels such as, Coil, Stainless, Processing Plant and Equipment, sheet, and are major stockholders of these. Their key industries are engineering and automotive, and their network of depots and plant enable them to meet the varied needs of such diverse industries. They carry many accreditations for the quality of their products, and for the team culture that they have established over the years.
You will be responsible for expediting material to meet all customer requirements. this will entail raising schedules for specific accounts, and provide detailed reports for the Account Managers, and the sales teams. To be successful in the role, you will need 3 years experience in a similar role, and you will be fully involved in the day to day activities of the Purchasing Department.
The role is initially to cover for 12 month's maternity leave, but there is real potential for it to become permanent as business continues to grow year on year.
