Position Description
Position is in Boeing South Carolina's Tool Services and Hazmat organization. Position is site-wide, meaning the impact will be for all buildings on-site (Aft Body Fabrication, Midbody Assembly, Final Assembly, Interiors Responsibility Center).
Position could be accountable for one or more of the following:
1) provide day-to-day leadership to tool crib(s); 2) provide day-to-day leadership of Hazmat organization; 3) lead requirements gathering from Employee Involvement (EI) teams for point-of-use (kits, tool boxes, etc); 4) lead deployment of requirements gathering from EI teams using lean principles for continuous improvement; 5) identify potential local suppliers and help supplier management develop relationships.
