Position Description

Collects and assists with information to support definition of requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture of products. Incorporates changes to specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. Performs tests on, and assists with qualification of new materials, parts and processes to meet requirements. Assists with activities to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Works under close / general supervision. Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs. Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. Conducts routine analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Develops computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements.

Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
