Specific Job Description Maintains property records and provides property status to the Space Systems customer. Leads inventory and maintains audits of all THAAD property. Prepares 1149s for shipment of THAAD property to remote locations. Conducts Condition of Assembly at Receipt and Transfer (CART) briefings for all THAAD equipment transfers. Determines final destination of assemblies and equipment upon receipt. Maintains separation of government and company properties. Maintains separate assembly condition areas. Uses the FAR to establish requirements for control of property. Prepares the shipping and receiving documents for all THAAD shipments and receipts. Prepares purchase request and materials. Works directly with Government and company acquisition entities to acquire and control property and material. In addition to standard warehouse activities the successful candidate will be a member of a THAAD Fire Unit Augmentation Team and must possess or obtain both a commercial driver license (CDL) and a government driver's license. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check according to company policy. The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check prior to employment. As a member of a THAAD Fire Unit Augmentation Team the successful candidate will augment the Fire Unit Support Team when it is deployed outside the United States (OCONUS) if required. The position is designated mission essential and world-wide deployable with a U.S. Army unit and may require ABC training and military exercise participation and other related training for the area of operations. Also, in accordance with the specifications in PPG-TAB A which accompanies MOD TEN, Section 15.C, due to expected harsh living and working conditions the candidate must obtain medical clearance for deployment. Following acceptance of a contingent offer of employment the selected candidate will be required to submit to a pre-employment physical examination that will meet the requirements of AR 40-501, CHAPTER 3 (Medical Fitness Standards for Retention and Separation) and MOD 10 (Written by CENTCOM Theater Surgeon) to determine eligibility to deploy with the military unit and the standards in 49 CFR 391.41 to qualify for a Commercial Driver?s License. If deployed, the successful candidate will be required to work overtime and non-standard shifts as necessary. Candidate must possess or obtain a U.S. passport and the passport must be kept current. Travel on short notice both in the US and its possessions, as well as to foreign countries, is required. Possible extreme danger, stress, physical hardships and field living conditions associated with this position within a desert camp complex are expected. Ability to function during an extended assignment at a foreign, in-country facility exposed to seasonal temperature extremes. Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath, and sleeping quarters. Must be able to walk, kneel, bend and stoop, and have correctable vision.
