As a winner of three national awards, we have demonstrated that Lincolnshire is at the leading edge in addressing rural transport problems. We require your help to manage and deliver a key part of this work and to assist with an innovative new project with Northamptonshire County Council.
Location : Lincoln, Customer Service Centre, Witham Park House (Transportation Group)
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we enter into a unique partnership arrangement with Northamptonshire County Council as they introduce a new rural demand responsive transport service for their county.
You will be required to process Lincolnshire CallConnect or Northamptonshire CountyConnect journey requests from service users. To use a computerised booking and scheduling system, give advice on transport solutions, help manage operational incidents and to liaise with drivers and other transport operators to ensure the service operates effectively and efficiently throughout Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and other areas where appropriate. You will also assist with the promotion and publicity of the service including attending Roadshows and help to manage operator compliance issues.
Experience in transport services is not essential, but you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, a good telephone manner, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, computer literacy, as well as enthusiasm, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills to take on this role.
