In Application Innovation Services, the Maximo Data Migration consultant is responsible for the architecting and modeling of business data into Maximo database design and schemas. Analyze business requirements and business processes and transform them into logical and physical data models. Apply normalization modeling techniques for the Maximo data models. Prepare logical and physical data models based on the requirements. Understanding and experience in working with relational database. Experience in developing SQL scripts and working with either Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 databases. Work with development DBAs to generate schemas, physical databases, table structures and indices. Work with architects to play an active role in developing system architecture ensuring that data models are represented adequately. Required * High School Diploma/GED * At least 2 years experience in detailed design and hands on implementation of large scale data models for Maximo databases * At least 2 years experience in logical and physical data modeling, taking into account both functional and non-functional requirements * At least 2 years experience in MIF or MDL to load data into Maximo * Basic knowledge in design and implementation of data loading and transformation * Basic knowledge in SQL scripting * Basic knowledge in Maximo data models * Basic knowledge in IBM InfoSphere DataStage * Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements) * English: Intermediate Preferred * Bachelor's Degree * At least 4 years experience in detailed design and hands on implementation of large scale data models for Maximo databases * At least 4 years experience in logical and physical data modeling, taking into account both functional and non-functional requirements * At least 4 years experience in MIF or MDL to load data into Maximo * At least 2 years experience in design and implementation of data loading and transformation * At least 2 years experience in SQL scripting * At least 2 years experience in Maximo data models * At least 2 years experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
