MC Truck Drivers (FIFO) Job in Perth 6000, Western Australia Australia

Our client, one of Australia's leading privately owned-companies offering a truly comprehensive range of pipeline services for water, wastewater, tailings, slurries, gas and other industrial fluids on both green and brownfield environments across all industrial sectors, currently have an immediate need for experienced MC Truck Drivers to work FIFO in the Pilbara.

 

Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Supervisors, the successful candidate will be required to undertake day-to-day activities in accordance with production and operational requirements.  Further you will be able to demonstrate:

·         Relevant certifications and extensive hands-on background (must have demonstrated experience driving double/triple/quads.

·         Some demonstrable experience in construction and operational mine sites; particularly in the areas of bulk earthworks.
Existing FMG Inductions (Christmas Creek / Cloudbreak) would be viewed favourably.

 

The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate:

·         An awareness of and commitment to all aspects of site safety, including pre-starts, toolbox meetings, JHA’s, etc.

·         The ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including colleagues, supervisors, other contractors, and clients.

·         Relevant qualifications/certifications (or substantial completion towards same).

·         Some demonstrable experience in labouring or construction activities.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Knowledge of relevant legislation, programs and workplace obligations.

·         An affinity and understanding of indigenous people and their culture.

 

 

An immediate start with a 2x1 FIFO roster is on offer, along with a highly competitive hourly rate for the right applicant.  Whilst initially employed on a labour hire basis, the successful candidate will be presented with the opportunity to become a member of the team on an ongoing basis.
