Position Description
McKesson's Revenue Management Solutions division has an opening in Houston, TX for a Data Managment Analyst.
This position provides reporting services for large and varied client base of McKesson¿s Revenue Management Solutions. This will include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports comprised of key performance metrics as well as monitoring and analysis of charges, payments, adjustments, accounts receivable and other data elements.
Position is also responsible for the in-depth analysis of a client¿s challenges. This will include, but not limited to cash flow forecasting, AR trending, and or variance change percentages. A person in this position should make recommendations as to how to increase productivity, improve upon existing processes, and streamline report offerings. Position is also responsible for auditing current workflows.
This position also requires project management for various initiatives within the Houston office from scoping, planning, initiating, executing, and closing projects.
Minimum Requirements
2 + years of experience with reporting and data analysis is required.
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are a preferred, including:
Pivot Tables
Vlookups
Nested Formulas
Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal are required.
Proficiency with MS Word is required. MS Access and SQL experience desired.
Knowledge of healthcare practice management, medical billing, and/or revenue cycle management is desirable.
Ability to analyze trends and develop target metric needed.
Ability to challenge existing processes and make recommendations for improvements to existing reporting.
Candidates must have the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
This person should be a self starter who can work with only high level supervision while maintaining a dedication to quality and timeliness.
Education
BS degree or equivalent experience in business analysis and project management is preferred.
