MD – Corporate Banking

Responsibilities:

• New business development and relationship management coverage of middle market/large corporate clients in the industry vertical ($500m - $5b in revenue)

• Development of forward looking new business plans for clients, partnering with the IB coverage teams to create value-added solutions for clients.

• Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met by the firms’ broad array of products across Corporate Banking (loans, treasury, foreign exchange, trade finance, cash management, etc.) and, when appropriate, introduce the IB client executives for MA, Leveraged Finance, DCM etc.

• Build and develop CFO and Treasurer level coverage of middle market/large corporate clients in the US, working and co-coordinating with IB client executives where such coverage exists.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant client relationship management in sector with a proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business, close transactions, and develop networks, both internally and externally.

• Strong rolodex of CFO/Treasurer contacts in industry vertical.

• Solid credit and analytical skill set with a strong working knowledge of corporate and investment banking products.

• Strong commercial judgment, influencing skills, and proven track record of partnering with IB product teams.

• Excellent communication skills.
