MD, Energy (Oil Complex) recruitment
Our client, a leading international financial services institution, is seeking an experienced energy and derivatives markets expert to lead their Crude Refined Products business in New York.
As a key member of the Executive team, the Managing Director will take ownership of the firm’s Crude Refined products strategy, developing and executing the business plan, and be the driving force in expanding the firm’s customer base, developing new product markets and increasing revenues and volumes. In addition to the ability to lead, inspire and drive the business, the successful candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge of the Oil complex, as well as knowledge of OTC, options and volatility products, electronic trading technology and sales. In conjunction with responsibility for the Crude Refined Products business, the MD will also assist the firm’s Natural Gas, and Power Emissions business lines. A background of at least 10-15 years’ in Energy sales, trading, investment, finance and/or risk management is a key requirement for this role. This is a challenging senior level position offering the opportunity to shape, build and lead an exciting business.
