MD – Head of Melbourne, Boutique Independent Corporate Advisory House recruitment
A rare opportunity has arisen to lead a specialist midmarket focused corporate advisory boutique. They provide corporate advisory services to small and mid-market companies across a range of industries. With an existing presence and infrastructure with a range of long term, strategic client relationships with an exceptional track record in closing deals, they are keen to recruit a strong leader and originator to complement their existing capability.
Working closely with the Principal, you will have the freedom to create and execute the strategic plan for the Melbourne office. Your offering will include business divestments, mergers and acquisitions advisory, strategic reviews /restructuring, debt advisory and management buy out/in services. You will also originate and secure business with target clients in the fast growthemerging company sector and lead the firm’s Melbourne presence.
Your experience is likely to have been gained in investment banking or corporate advisory, ideally within (or an interest in) the dynamic mid market. You will add to the existing deal flow through your strong relationships with investors, financiers and intermediaries. Your demonstrated skills will include deal origination and transaction management, as well as capability to lead and motivate a growing team of professionals. This opportunity provides scope for a recognised market participant to develop and grow their own business within an established structure that provides client relationships, firm infrastructure and a strong deal pipeline.
