Measurement Technician II Job in San Antonio, Texas Us
Duties include calibrating, maintaining and repairing liquid and/or gas meters; maintaining and repairing liquid and/or gas sampler systems; procuring liquid or gas samples as required; and transporting of hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials.
Performs job duties onshore and/or offshore, utilizing a company vehicles and/or transportation by helicopter, boat, seaplane, etc. Out of town stay and/or offshore stay is sometimes required.
Required to maintain their work schedule with customers and SPL. If any changes are made to the schedule, notification to the customer and the appropriate office is requires. On non-scheduled days, the Measurement Technician II will perform assignments at the office.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, i.e., eight (8) to sixteen (16) hours depending on job services requirements and customer needs. A Measurement Technician II may be required to be part of the "On Call" program on a rotating schedule. These hours can be extended into weekends and/or holidays.
Must maintain and account for assigned SPL property. This includes tools, credit cards, company vehicle, cell phone, laptop, calibration equipments, and parts.
Required to properly prepare all necessary paperwork and documentation of service performed on a timely basis and submit same to proper office personnel for processing.
Perform other duties as assigned.
