Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC), one of the largest suppliers of rented industrial construction equipment, seeks talented people for a Mechanic position at our location. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to enhance their skills with a company whose reputation speaks for itself.
You'll be responsible for repairs to all rental equipment, shop equipment, and trucks in accordance with HERC quality and efficiency standards at our Lancaster, CA location.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (both gas and diesel), DC Electrical Systems, Propane Systems, Hydraulics, Track Equipment, Aerial Equipment, and Heavy Trucks/Automotive
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Propane Systems.
- Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions
- Basic welding techniques
- Own a master mechanic tool set
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Driver's license
- Basic knowledge of the Hertz Fleet
- Desire to be a Team Player
