Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
 
Maintain assigned trucks, ships and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
 
Routinely weld, paint and refurbish equipment.
 
Conduct mechanical inspections.
 
May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
 
Maintain equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
 
Schedule and conduct preventive and elective maintenance on equipment.
 
Facilitate third-party maintenance of equipment when required.
 
Purchase inventory parts and supplies.
 
Seek process improvements for jobs without compromising quality, safety and performance.
 
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
 
Basic Qualifications
 
High school diploma, secondary school completion or equivalent.
 
2+ years experience.
 
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Prefers to see candidates with previous seismic equipment experience.
 
Mechanic certification preferred. 
 
Knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes.
 
Good analytical skills.
 
Strong attention to detail.
 
Strong customer focus.
 
Good organizing and planning skills.
 
Ability to work independently.
