Mechanical Associate
Our Client wishes to recruit an Associate Mechanical Consultant to be based from offices in Birmingham. You will be partially responsible for the profitable expansion of a key business unit. The practice is well-known and part of a growing business.
About the Client:
Our client is an international building services consultancy, with successful offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. They are experts within the field of building-services design, and place great importance upon the service that their client's receive.
About the Role:
Leading a team, in a client facing capacity, throughout the entire process, with an emphasis on commercial management;
You will lead teams on a variety of projects, with an emphasis on developing further fee earning opportunities;
Developing the wider service offering and capabilities of the entire team, also acting as a 'mentor' figure.
About the Candidate:
You must be an experienced Mechanical professional, ideally (but not necessarily) being Chartered or possessing a relevant Masters Degree;
You will have a previous background working within a major building-services (MEP) consulting firm as a Senior Level Consultant Knowledge of commercial property and research skills essential.
You will have experience on major/key projects with a focus on innovative sustainability and low-carbon solutions - involving the relevant regulations;
You will have a strong network of connections within the Midlands, ideally working with blue-chip clients;
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team on existing projects, as well as the initiative and leadership skills to take the lead on new work.
