Mechanical Commissioning Engineer Job in Site Based 6700, Western Australia Australia
Due to continuing growth a global EPCM now requires a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to assist in the development of this huge iron ore project and make a real difference. As this project is currently in the construction phase the commissioning engineer can make an impression from the beginning.
General duties and responsibilities will be to:
- Be able to identify the requirements for engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages.
- Produce the engineering deliverables to the schedules set by the APEs.
- Oversee the quality of the engineering deliverables.
- Be able to ensure the implementation of the project engineering procedures.
- Providing technical advice for all mechanical engineering project work as required.
- Input to the MTO process.
- Liaise with engineering and technical personnel to ensure project goals are met.
- Provide input to the mechanical engineering budget and address any variances from budget.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global EPCM consultancy. All candidates will have to demonstrate a proven track record working with in multimillion dollar projects and on the client side.
To be considered:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent
- A high level of technical accuracy and experience
- Excellent team involvement, mentoring, coordination and communication skills
- Minimum 5 years EPCM experience
- Proven track record at senior level within large scale project commissioning
