The Mechanical Design Engineer will be working in a small, cross-functional, team responsible for developing avionics hardware for Angle of Attack (AOA) and/or Windshield Wiper Systems.
The Mechanical Design Engineer's activities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
-Working in a cross-functional product development team to develop and certify AOA and/or Windshield Wiper technology
-Supporting the establishment of and adhering to a schedule for the mechanical development and test activities of AOA and/or Windshield Wiper technology
-Supporting the generation of product development documentation including: Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Test Procedures, Qualification Test Reports, Performance Specifications, Product Specifications, Drawings, 3D models, etc.
-Supporting informal and formal RTCA/DO-160 and/or MIL-STD hardware testing in support of formal qualification and integration test activities.
-Interfacing with the Goodrich India Design Center in support of product development activities.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years of experience
- Experience with Pro/E, Ansys, MS Office tools
- Experience with MIL-STD and RTCA/DO-160 testing is preferred, but not required
