Mechanical Designer Job in Slough, Home Counties UK
Leading company in the field of power quality products and electrical control systems are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work within their development department to extend and develop their range of products. This will involve both 2D and 3D design of electro-mechanical equipment and associated electronics housing/packaging, taking designs from initial specification, through development, test and into production.
You will have a number of years as a Mechnical Design Engineer within industry with good knowledge of using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D design, which will have ideally included experience of moulded plastic, sheet metal, structural steel and machined parts. In addition an understanding of manufacturing processes using CNC/CAM would be useful.
