IAC currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to work for our Global Test Facility business.
Based out of our HQ in Winchester, the successful candidate will;
- Design HVAC systems from the first principle for dedicated industrial buildings and engine test cells anechoic chambers
- Determine customer requirements
- Clearly present design options system functionality
- Prepare budget costs for HVAC systems designed
- Have close liaison with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Undertake customer/ site visits as appropriate
- Direct sub-contractors works and commissioning
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following skills and experience;
- CIBSE qualified or equivalent experience and capability in electrical and mechanical building services design.
- Full driver’s license
- Strong organisational, and communication skills
- Experienced in the design of air duct systems, fan selection, heat exchanger selection, refrigeration, pipe work for water and fuel systems, HVAC controls, along with calculation of heat loads and cooling duties from first principles.
- Thorough understanding of associated electrical systems
This role will involve international travel.
