Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer / Draftsperson for our client in Plymouth who are a manufacturing company with international clients. The role will involve producing the engineering drawings for their products, BOM’s, and accurate product costing. Knowledge/Experience/Skills required
• Producing general assembly drawings of mechanical products from design sketches.
• Producing accurate mechanical detail drawings
• Producing Bills of Material
• Producing accurate product costings
• Executing Engineering Changes involving modifications to drawings and BOM’s
• Maintaining Quality assurance records of the New Product Development process.
Experience with AutoDesk Inventor 3D CAD system preferred but not essential. Applicant with good AutoCAD skills and a willingness to keep learning would be welcomed.
What we are not looking for is a standard CAD operator; or a fully trained design Engineer. Our client is looking for someone who has an engineering background that can produce good technical documentation and add value to this growing business.
