Mechanical Engineer

·         A bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical Engineering and at least seven years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·         This position requires demonstrated technical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, as well as documentation for both.  Prior product commercialization experience required.

·         Must be proficient in the use of Solid Works.

·         Willingness to travel and flexibility to work extended hours are required.

·         Strong familiarity and experience in rapid prototyping technologies including 3D printers and hands-on machine shop skills.

·         Must be proficient in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS Project or similar scheduling tool to create simple project files, MS Excel (entering formulas, graphing, developing spreadsheets), and MS Word (tables, design documentation, verification plans, etc.).

·         Prior experience with the injection mold process a plus.

·         Knowledge of MIL-STD-810/460/461/462 a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
