We are a provider of full facility integration solutions. Specializing in design, integration, construction and development for vehicle, components and engine manufacturers. We seek a Mechanical Engineer interested in a rewarding career in a fast-paced, team environment. The individual will work with engineers of varied disciplines to provide assistance with test equipment specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The right candidate should have a background or strong understanding of emissions.

What you need for this position:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, involvement, and/or internship experience with emissions measurement and engine test cells required.
- Able to work flexible hours as part of a group that must provide 24/7 support to the controls and automation system.
- Ability to work with Facility Designers and Test Equipment Vendors to ensure both facility and equipment requirements will be met by the design of a test facility project.
- Ability to work with clients and vendors to specify, procure, and manage the design/delivery of major test equipment, including instrumentation, dynamometers, data acquisition systems, and emissions equipment.
- Ability to schedule and manage vendors and sub-contractors during installation and commissioning phases of test facility projects.
- Ability to work with mechanical, controls, and fabrication groups to design and build custom hardware and components required to support testing projects/processes.
- Make certain that drawings are updated to reflect permanent field modifications.
- Participate in test cell commissioning planning and execution.
- Exhaust emissions measurement system experience would be a plus but not required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work as a committed team member.
- Must have problem solving skills (hands on and analytical), strong organizational and time management skills, willingness to accept responsibility, team player, takes initiative to improve personal skills, ability to work effectively with all internal and external levels and groups.
- Must be able to travel to customer facilities for client meetings, hardware and equipment installation supervision, and commissioning. Travel may be spent on local, national, and international job sites.

What you'll be doing:

- Review the layout of test systems and equipment with all project members and clients.
- Emissions measurement and engine test cells engineering.
- Ensure both facility and equipment requirements will be met by the design of a test facility project.
- Anticipate and identify work to be done to meet project deadlines. Raise day-to-day and long-term schedule, budget, and quality issues with the appropriate people (Project Managers, Group Leaders, and Principals) in a constructive manner.
- Responsible for maintaining engineering drawings associated with test cell/facility integrated test equipment.
