MECHANICAL ENGINEER UNARCO INDUSTRIES Perform calculations based upon project requirements, process specifications and standards to assure the desired outcome of the project Document the project in an understandable and organized fashion, capturing all costs associated Provide support for new design projects, manage quality aspect internal, as well as develop and implement design improvements Create concept 3D models and/or layout drawings, as well as detailed manufacturing drawings as necessary, in CAD system Provide guidance to machine designers and fabricators Knowledge of metal working machinery and welding process Proficient in machine design practices, i.e. material selection, tolerances, ANSI standards, mechanisms and machine elements Proficient in engineering/drafting, mathematics, and engineering principles and calculations including thermodynamics, heat transfer, strength of materials, stress analysis and dynamics Some knowledge and experience with lean applications Experience with project management Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines Must possess good leadership and organizational skills and the ability to motivate team members Bachelors degree in Engineering required 3-5 years experience in design and manufacture of capital equipment E-mail resume and salary requirements to: Jan Brink, H.R.
