In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a team member with other top-notch Mechanical Engineers. Use your experience in static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packages. You will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. You will be empowered to direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication; coordinate with the cross-functional team; and manage the team's budget and schedule. Experience/Skills Required
Experience/Skills Required:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience that includes high volume production
• Experience with high speed, precision machining
• Experience resolving problems from engineering to production to assembly
• Experience with tooling design and inspection techniques
• Experience with cross-functional teams, including multiple engineering disciplines, assembly personnel, and quality representatives
• Experience leading teams, including managing budget and schedule
• Up to 10% travel
• US Citizen
Preferences:
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
• Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Active government security clearance (secret or above) or have held an active government clearance (secret or above) within the past two years
