A London Borough is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for a contract role.
The main responsibilities will be the provision of a comprehensive professional mechanical maintenance service including day-to-day consultancy advice as required by customers. The Mechanical Engineer (Design Maintenance) shall also be required to assist the Principal Services Engineer in undertaking medium or large new-build, improvement or planned maintenance projects, feasibility studies, surveys and other duties, producing schemes and reports to a high professional standard.
A successful applicant must be conversant with current regulations associated with Mechanical installations.
Must have previous experince in survey, design, specify and supervise contracts covering a wide range of mechanical installations.
You must be able to manage a large caseload and comply with management deadlines. To be fully conversant with energy conservation issues and Building Energy Management systems and good all round knowledge of all aspects of mechanical building services and associated disciplines.
Experience of designing and specifying mechanical installations in Non Housing projects including Air Conditioning Installations. Knowledge of building contracts and their affect on contract documentation
You must hold a current UK driving licence.
