Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is assigned to the Mechanical Engineering Department and is responsible for static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packages for capital equipment. To support design activities, the incumbent will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
Major Responsibilities:
· Perform mechanical design according to specifications.
· Work closely with process development engineers to develop new hardware for novel thin films deposition technologies.
· Work closely with and supervise vendors for successful and complete fabrication of designated parts.
· Support installation and testing of new deposition systems
Qualifications:
· BSME or MSME is required with at least 5 plus years of experience in Semiconductor, aerospace, medical device etc.
- Must have a solid understanding of Precision Machining, cable harness, material mechanics, fixtures, Sheet metal etc.
- Candidates with experience in large assemblies highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Pro-E- Wildfire, Pro- Intralink OR Solidworks and a understanding of GD T, ANSI Y14.5 is required.
- Pro-PDM and / or Pro-Intralink experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must possess solid communication skills
