Mechanical Engineer Job in Terre Haute 47805, Indiana US
Reports To: VP Engineering
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is excited to be a part of an innovative, growing company. This individual will be tasked with creating marketable solutions for a variety of industrial weighing applications.
Duties include: Working with inside and outside customers; simultaneous engineering; maintenance of and improvements to standard product designs; support of quality and lean manufacturing initiatives; and any other duties as might be determined by the VP engineering.

Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years experience
Additional “Plus” Experience/Skills (any or all):
- Structural design (stress analysis)
- Reinforced concrete
- Mechanical design
- Word, Excel; bills of material, packing lists, etc.
- Scale/weighing industry
- Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA)
- ISO9000/VCAP
- Six Sigma, SPC, or other quality tools
- Cost estimating
- Manufacturing processes (welding fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing and painting, etc.)
- Trouble-shooting experience (manufacturing, installation, operation)
- AutoCAD skills (2-D most important)
