Mechanical Engineer
DUTIES: Utilizing thorough knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes including but not limited to thermo forming, precise CNC machining, plastic welding, fusion bonding and annealing, design, evaluate, install, maintain and operate manufacturing machinery system to meet requirements in accordance to manufacturing specifications. Conduct periodic tests to maintain machinery as well as investigate machinery failure to solve and troubleshoot manufacturing problems as they rise. Develop, implement and improve methods of manufacturing and recommend design modifications. Analyze engineering prints, technical drawings, schematics and BOM. Provide manufacturability and feasibility input to the new design as they evolve utilizing knowledge of prototyping and new product development. Perform analysis and optimize current processes, product flows and setup times utilizing knowledge of High Mix/Low Volume manufacturing systems.
