Mechanical Engineer
6 Month Contract

My client has a full order book for 2012 and following recent expansion they are looking for an additional Mechanical Engineer to build large pieces of engineered machinery.
The company is a market leader in their field supplying to customers worldwide. They offer their customers a variety of services including, design and development, equipment manufacture, installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs and overhauls. They refurbish and upgrade existing equipment and offer full operator training to the users.
The machines they produce are made to very fine tolerances, often bespoke to the individual clients. Therefore to build these machines the Mechanical Engineer must be able to read drawings and
be experience in using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers. Whilst induction and product training will be provided the successful candidate will be highly skilled and have experience of assembly, installation and calibration of industrial, mechanical machinery. Preferably timeserved in a relevant engineering field.
The company can offer a 6 month contract that could lead to a permanent position. They provide a generous bonus after 12 months service and 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
