The selected candidate will manage a group of 8-10 individuals, mostly degreed MEs. The responsibilities for this challenging opportunity include: - Integrating with various engineering groups to ensure deliverables receivables meet everyonersquo;s requirements - Verify analysis of mechanical- electromechanical systems data demonstrates design requirements - Organize conduct technical design reviews - Ensure fixture designs for testing resource needs are identified available - Verify design concepts tech plans are well executed - Provide guidance on hands-on design-development - Schedule creation tracking with MS Project - Budget creation and tracking - Personnel allocation/prioritization - Lead troubleshooting activities: design, budget and schedule issues - Effectively develop/mentor staff members To qualify for this very exciting opportunity, you should possess a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with over 4 yearsrsquo; experience managing a team of 5+ engineers. Also, you should possess proficiency in the following hands-on technical skills: SolidWorks +/or ProE, GD T and ANSI Y 14.5 standards, analytical engineering design principles problem solving practices, product data and design management, design verification validation, strong written verbal communication skills.
