Mechanical Fitter / Skilled Engineer Job in Chorley SK96LX, North West UK
Our client is involved in testing the machinery that will remove environmental waste from derelict areas of Power Stations and Nuclear Plants. Their site is a modern state of the art Research and Development Workshop - this is where the company conduct test schedules using none toxic materials such as sand gravel and powders on Mechanical Test rigs. to ensure that the machinery is working in an effective manner.
Duties will include
*Standard mechanical fitting
*Modification and Machine operating duties
*Some welding exp would be an advantage
*Role would be a combination of maintenance type fitting and operating rigs for trials
*Quite a physical position were climbing rigs will be involved
This is a Temporary position but is on a long term contract.
It is paying £11.90ph
37.5 hours per week
