(5) Mechanical Integrity Engineers needed in Houston, TX!!!

We are seeking a mechanical integrity consultant with experience supporting manufacturing plants in the area of process equipment maintenance and reliability.

Thorough understanding of mechanical integrity and quality assurance practices is required.

Knowledge of facilities engineering processes, principles, and maintenance reliability is also required.

Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10 to 15 years of work experience (more experience is better) in the design, repairs, maintenance, reliability, failure modes, and/or inspection of chemical process equipment is required.

Experience with reliability tools such as RCFA, FMEA, Weibul analysis, statistical analysis, etc. is advantageous but not required.

Depending on the experience, this position can be filled in at junior or senior level.

The ideal candidate will have the experience in the following areas:

• Implementing Mechanical Integrity Quality Assurance (MIQA) best practices;

• Performing failure mode and effect analysis to develop appropriate equipment maintenance plans to include equipment checks and Preventive Predictive Maintenance (PPM) performed by operators and mechanics;

• Working with appropriate maintenance management systems such as SAP, Nexus, Meridium, etc.;

• Performing PPM effectiveness assessment at appropriate timings;

• Working with plant engineering, purchasing and plant's stores organizations to develop execute appropriate Quality Assurance (QA) practices; assessing effectiveness of QA practices;

• Working with plant's inspector group to ensure appropriate inspection technologies were being used and assessing quality of inspection plans;

• Reviewing inspection reports and analyzing data to determine fitness for service, quality of inspection, appropriate inspection interval, etc.;

• Use of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies to determine appropriate inspection methodologies and intervals.

3 Month Contract.

Hours - 8 to 5 - M- F

Pay to $60 per hour based on education, experience and skills.
